“All the work was very much worth it when we humbly witnessed the extraordinary people who came to be with us! Many Sisters had tears when we saw firsthand the unbelievable generosity shown to us!”
We haven’t stopped hearing exclamations like this since Dollars FORE Dominicans wrapped up on Monday, August 22nd. Sisters, golfers, volunteers, and friends have simply gushed over what a wonderful time we all had together.
It fills us with immense gratitude to know everyone enjoyed the day which was blessed by joyously beautiful weather from morning to dusk. During the program, we honored Sisters’ longtime friend and faithful Golf Committee member, Jack Kirkwood, with the 2022 Sister Marie Michael Jacobs Award. Later, guests heard from Sr. Nancy Malburg about ongoing ministry work bringing hope to refugee children and those in foster care. Sr. Jarrett DeWyse followed, describing updates at Marywood that will better accommodate all Sisters who do and will live on campus. |
Each year, our Dollars FORE Dominicans golf outing raises invaluable support for our Sisters and their ministries. It couldn’t happen without a mighty team of volunteers, staff, and Sisters, all led by a legendary Golf Committee.
To this fine faction of friends, we offer our most heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
