This week, Sister Mary Navarre welcomed a class of Calvin College students to Marywood. They arrive each year in the fall with David Rylaarsdam, professor of History of Christianity at Calvin Theological Seminary. Sr. Mary introduces religious life in the Dominican tradition for these students of the Christian Reformed tradition. The class tours Dominican Chapel, our Meditation Chapel, and the Legacy Room. We introduce Dominican Center and the diverse programs offered here. Professor Rylaarsdam believes this ministry of the Dominican Sisters is a wonderful resource for his students’ current and future ministries.
