Come! Open your Heart! Show your mercy to all those in fear! We are called to be hope for hopelessness… ~ From the Hymn We Are Called by David Haas

January is National Human Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. The Dominican Sisters ~ Grand Rapids have long supported state and local initiatives to combat human trafficking.

Based upon our commitment to promote the call of Gospel justice and help guide the study of and advocacy for human rights and climate justice in our world today, we have identified Human Trafficking as a justice ministry priority in this time and place in history.
