“It takes many hands to serve in mission, and we are grateful to both lay and Sister employees who lend their talents and time to furthering the mission and works of the Dominican Sisters~Grand Rapids,” said Sister Joan Williams on behalf of the Leadership Team.
“Today we offer each of you a special blessing and recognize that your service here is a gift to each of us,” said Sr. Joan Williams, O.P.
Sisters Megan McElroy and Maureen Geary lead prayer in Chapel of the Word at Marywood. While Sister Joan Williams and Sister Donna Jean Thelen led the service in St. Catherine of Siena Chapel at Aquinta Hall. Sister Sandra Delgado was unable to attend due to illness.
“Creator God, bless the work of our hands,” said the Sisters, as they blessed the hands of each employee during this special service.
