Sr. Phyllis Supancheck is a supporter and recipient of Michigan Parkinson Foundation services.

Help people with Parkinson’s Disease and their families and caregivers by supporting Sister Phyllis Supancheck and her team “Sr. Phyllis Supancheck Superstars” as they raise awareness and funds at the 2025 Grand Rapids Walk on October 11, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Aquinas College.

In addition to research initiatives, the Michigan Parkinson’s Foundation and the Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan both help people with Parkinson’s Disease. Sister Phyllis Supancheck, OP, has contributed to support groups and been a recipient of specialized therapies since being diagnosed with the disease. In recent years, her attention has turned to awareness and fundraising through the Parkinson Hero Walk.

“I am now experiencing difficulty in speaking and swallowing, as well as more balance and walking issues. Nevertheless, I keep exercising and working toward better health. I am known for my perseverance and never giving up!” she says.
