
Grand Rapids, Michigan — On Monday, September 15, 2025, Creation Justice Ministries and Michigan Interfaith Power & Light are hosting a public witness event in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This Witness for Creation Justice event, during this Season of Creation 2025, includes witnesses from all faith backgrounds who are highlighting urgent environmental concerns through ritual, testimony and prayer on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm ET at Ah-Nab-Awen Park, 220 Front Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
All friends of creation are welcome to attend and support this public witness for creation justice event on the banks for the Grand River.
Together, we’re protecting, restoring, and rightly sharing God’s creation.
Witnesses in Grand Rapids
Jessica Eimer Bowen, Dominican Sisters ~ Grand Rapids Promoter of Justice for the Congregation’s Justice Ministry and a long-time advocate for social and environmental justice, will join the featured witnesses for Creation.

This is one of a series of faith gatherings, including Grand Rapids, Michigan; Washington, D.C.; Phoenix, Arizona; Atlanta, Georgia highlighting urgent environmental concerns through ritual, testimony and prayer. Each event will feature a diverse panel of speakers—faith leaders, theologians, community members, and public officials—speaking to the sacred duty to protect Creation.
