“You will show me the path of life, fullness of joy in your presence.” -Psalm 16

God began to show me this path as I grew up in a good Catholic family in rural Lake Leelanau. Then our little country school was consolidated with St. Mary’s in Lake Leelanau. There I had the benefit of having the Sisters as my teachers. I wanted to be like them – a Sister as well as a teacher.

A big step on this path was when I won a scholarship in eighth grade to attend Marywood Academy for high school. I became an aspirant for four years and finally a novice and final profession.

Thanks be to God for 70 years of many graces and blessings. Much gratitude extended for the support of family, friends, and community. I am still journeying on this path that will lead to the hands of a loving and merciful God. Happiness forever!
