“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
And I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Into Your hands, I commend my family, O God.
For I must let go of trying to “fix” everything and everyone.
And instead, place them in Your gentle hands and compassionate heart,
where they will be carried through their struggles in Your time,
in Your way, which is not always my way.
I trust Your love.

Help me to open my hands in acceptance of what IS,
So that I can be present to each member of my family,
with wise words or no words,
accompanying them in their quandaries,
without judgment, without expectations.
Just BEING WITH and FOR them – even in silent prayer.
They are each special in my eyes and Yours.
