Prayer of Thanksgiving
O, God of the Universe,
expand our hearts in Thanksgiving
for loving us into being
and for sharing your love in total gift of self
poured out in Jesus Christ.
Thank you for the beauty of all creation
in nature and for our sisters and brothers
around the world
from every nation, color, and creed.
Teach us to pour out our lives for others
in Eucharistic thanksgiving
for a better world of justice, equality, and peace.
May all creation experience fullness of life
in our common Earth home now and into the future.
We pray this with deep gratitude in Jesus name.
