Partners in Parenting is an individualized 8-week program for parents and caregivers of children 12 years of age and younger.

Through interactive sessions, we enable adults to:

  • Interact more fully and lovingly with children.
  • Learn how to resolve conflict.
  • Strengthen appropriate patterns of behavior.
  • Develop healthy self-concepts.
  • Provide opportunities for children to develop leadership qualities grounded in moral and spiritual values.
  • Become supportive of one another.

As educators we are committed to empowering parents and caregivers of children to build responsive, healthy, and fulfilled family and social relationships.

We teach and model skills that have lasting benefits, and enable parents and caregivers to become the best parents and caregivers they can be. At Partners in Parenting, we believe fathers matter; parents can support one another; play is powerful; routines work; and positive discipline transforms relationships.

Marguerite Cool and Jean Kramer advise parents from around West Michigan at the referral of the courts, social service providers, educators, and friends.
