Justice Acts: Gun Violence Awareness and Gun Law Reform
On June 1, orange ribbons could be seen all around the Marywood Campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan throughout the day. For a time, Sisters and employees gathered in the Pear Garden to pray, again, for gun violence to end.
While we gathered for a day, the invitation to wear orange until thoughtful gun reform is enacted is a way to: demonstrate your support for gun reform, remind you to keep peace and non-violence in your prayers, raise awareness, and invite thoughtful dialogue with people around you.
