Sister Megan McElroy spoke these words to a room of nearly 200 friends and supporters, as she blessed our meal at last night’s celebration.
During a night filled with Advent anticipation, guests mingled with Sisters, progressing from one end of Dominican Center to the other. Aglow with twinkling lights and shimmering stars, our space was transformed for this very special occasion.
As one of two signature annual fundraisers, ADVENTure provides an opportunity to support our Sisters and their multitude of ministries—ministries that touch countless lives each day. Enjoy our take on a movie trailer, highlighting the “super power” inherent in one very important ministry: prayer.
We can’t sum it up any better than our Prioress, Sister Sandra Delgado did when she closed the evening by quoting Meister Eckhart: “If the only prayer you ever say in life is ‘Thank you’ that will be enough.”
