Spiritual Formation Programs Open House
Come speak with facilitators and alumni of our core spiritual formation programs: Foundations I & II and our Spiritual Director Training. You will be able to ask your questions to discern if this might be where you can grow spiritually. We will have snacks and beverages to enjoy as we converse, and you can get a feel for who we are and what we do in this space. Additionally, we are holding our
Sacred Sampling Morning Retreat
beforehand from 9am – 11am which you may want to join to experience a taste of a Foundations presentation and a retreat prayer experience.
Foundations I: Foundations in Spirituality and Foundations II: Wisdom from the Margins
are year-long (September through May) serious reflective studies that open our minds and hearts to the teachings and life examples of great Christian spiritual teachers. They introduce contemplative prayer practices and reflection as grounding practices for living a richer spiritual life.
Spiritual Director Training
occurs through our two-year Spiritual Director Practicums, after completing Foundations I, and not only equips you to the call of a Spiritual Director, but deeply forms you as a person.

Diane Zerfas, OP
Spirituality Program Coordinator
Diane Zerfas OP is the Spirituality Program Coordinator for Dominican Center Marywood at Aquinas College, and is deeply involved in the center’s Spiritual Formation programs through the planning and teaching of Foundations in Spirituality and the Spiritual Direction Practicum.
Amanda Dobson
Associate Coordinator for Formation Programs
Amanda Dobson, Spiritual Director, is an associate coordinator for the Spirituality Programs at Dominican Center Marywood at Aquinas College. She serves as a member of the Formation Team and is deeply involved in the center’s Spiritual Formation Programs. Amanda holds a B.A. in English, a certificate for Spiritual Direction from DCM, and is a 2019 graduate of The Living School, Albuquerque, NM.
Teresa Burns
Associate Coordinator for Formation Programs
Teresa is an Associate with the Servants of Jesus and is on mission to live their charism of “living as Jesus lived, serving as Jesus served, and loving as Jesus loves.” As a spiritual director, speaker, and faith guide, Teresa invites people to notice the Presence of God within them and around them through “URBeloved ministries.” She desires that every person knows how much they are beloved by God. Teresa has worked in parish faith formation ministries for over 40 years.
Kimberley Mulder
Foundations II Facilitator, Spiritual Director, Program Assistant
Kimberley enjoys creating and facilitating spaces for people to encounter God, experience belovedness, and deepen faith.
She is a Spiritual Director trained through Portland Seminary, retreat leader and program assistant at the Dominican Center. A former teacher, refugee resettlement coordinator, and caterer, Kimberley has found God continually illuminating Life and Love in the particularities of her life.
Geralyn Myczkowiak
Foundations II Facilitator, Spiritual Director
Geralyn Myczkowiak (pronounced mitch cove e ack) is a Spiritual Director. She facilitates Foundations II.
She completed the Spiritual Director Practicum at Dominican Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2019. She practices spiritual direction at Dominican Center, Design Futures, and in her home office. Geralyn leads spiritual book studies and teaches classes on listening, happiness, and Thomas Merton.
