by Chela Gonzalez, OP
Ashes whisper stories
of what once was,
an echo of warmth,
now a fragile shade,
dust cradling memories.
Each grain holds a life,
every sigh a lesson,
reminding us
of fleeting time,
the soft embrace of existence,
and the weight of our choices.
In stillness, we gather—
the scattered remnants of our days,
a canvas for reflection,
where humility meets grace,
and from the ashes,
new beginnings take root.
