Frequently Asked Questions

Dominican Center History

The Dominican Center opened its doors in 1993 on the Marywood Campus of the Dominican Sisters Grand Rapids. It was established to welcome others to witness the power of Spirit through experiential prayer, shared study, service, and community building. Over the years this ministry has offered a conference center with overnight accommodations, bookstore, chapel, and a large variety of programs. In 2022, the Dominican Center moved across Fulton St onto Aquinas College’s campus where it is currently housed in the former Bukowski Chapel.
