Grantmaking for Mission!
BUILDING A BETTER WORLD
Through grantmaking, the Grand Rapids Dominican Sisters Foundation is making sure the work of building a better world never ceases.
In 2025 we increased our overall funding and broadened our scope. Eighty percent of this year’s grantee organizations are led by a person of color and all are led by women:
- Girls Choral Academy, giving girls a voice and helping them flourish through music
- Migrant Legal Aid, protecting the health, dignity, and livelihood of farmworkers and their families
- Sacred Beginnings, empowering people victimized by sexual exploitation and human trafficking
- San Juan Diego Academy, educating students of immigrant families in the Catholic faith
- Puertas Abiertas, supporting Latina women and their families to nurture a healthy future free from violence

FAITH IN ACTION
Foundation grantmaking bolsters efforts that mirror Sisters’ ministries past and present: care of Earth, education, alleviating poverty, peace and justice efforts, health care, and spiritual formation—and more!
Together with our friends and supporters, we put our faith in action by facilitating the work of those on the forefront today, serving God’s people just as Sisters have always done.
Join us in building this foundation of mission by making a gift today!
