An ancient practice, spiritual direction is the art of contemplative listening. By listening with the whole of your being you can better discern how the Spirit is present in your life. During spiritual direction, you share life experiences, personal perspectives, and encounters with the Divine.
Connect with one of Dominican Center’s Spiritual Directors to walk with you on your spiritual journey during life’s times of joy, grief, challenge, and peace. Our Spiritual Directors have created an intentional space for listening and discerning, and are here to help with gentle wisdom and keen observation to guide you as you become aware of how the Spirit works within you and around you.
Spiritual direction is helpful when you are:
We want to identify the best spiritual direction path for you, so we ask you to confidentially share some preliminary information about yourself. Please complete the Spiritual Direction Request Form if you would like to begin this process.
During individual spiritual direction, a Spiritual Director will help you learn to connect with God to discern a direction or to be at peace with one of life’s many complex situations.
Dominican Center Marywood at Aquinas College offers group spiritual direction, during which you and your peers support one another as you look to spiritually explore, share, and connect with the Holy Spirit. Contact Dominican Center for more information about group spiritual direction.
