A Vigil: Mourning Pregnancy and Infant Loss

A Vigil: Mourning Pregnancy and Infant Loss

Wednesday, October 15, 2025

7:00 – 8:30pm

Suggested Donation $20

For those who know the grief of infertility, pregnancy loss, or stillbirth, this gathering will serve as a collective witness to these painful experiences. Common feelings during these times of sorrow are isolation and invisibility. This gathering is meant to offer consolation. Join with a community for an evening of keeping vigil–meaning to be awake, to keep watch, and to pray. Whether your loss was recent or decades ago, it happened to you or someone you love, you are welcome to participate. The time together will include contemplative space to remember loss, experience comfort, and find solidarity. Lament and hope will be practiced as we connect with God who knows every detail of our stories and welcomes us with abundant love. The service coincides with national Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” – Matthew 5:4
