As the New Year opens before us, many of us feel an inner invitation—a longing to live with greater depth, integrity, and spiritual clarity. At Dominican Center, we welcome the turning of the year as sacred threshold time: a moment to pause, reflect, and step forward with purpose.

We invite seekers, searchers, and all who are spiritually curious to join us in our new programs designed to nourish the heart, engage the mind, and support a mature, grounded spiritual life.

Creating Your Rule of Life

In the midst of busy and often fragmented lives, a Rule of Life offers a compassionate structure—a way of aligning our daily rhythms with what truly matters. This program invites participants to reflect on prayer, work, rest, relationships, and care for self and community.

Rather than prescribing rigid rules, Creating Your Rule of Life supports you in shaping a personal framework that is flexible, realistic, and spiritually sustaining as you begin the New Year with clarity and purpose.

Program Dates & Times:

● Thursday, January 9 | 6:00–8:30 pm

● Friday, January 10 | 9:00 am–4:00 pm

Reimagining Faith: Reconstructing a Faith that Fits

Faith, like the human heart, is meant to grow. Reimagining Faith creates space for honest reflection, thoughtful dialogue, and spiritual expansion. This program invites participants to explore faith beyond inherited assumptions and familiar language, engaging the questions that arise through life experience, doubt, change, and hope.

Together, we will consider what it means to live a faith that is alive, thoughtful, and responsive to today’s world, supporting deeper human and Christian maturity while remaining rooted in compassion, justice, and contemplative wisdom.

Program Dates & Times:

● Sunday, February 1 | 1:30–4:30 pm

● Sunday, February 8 | 1:30–4:30 pm

Tending the Call: ongoing formation for Spiritual Directors (online)

Tending the Call is a virtual book study designed for spiritual directors and those engaged in accompaniment ministries. Rooted in the themes of Sacred Fire by Ronald Rolheiser, this series explores spiritual maturity, vocation, and the ongoing call to faithful presence across the stages of adult life.

This gathering offers space for prayerful reflection, thoughtful conversation, and communal wisdom—supporting both personal formation and professional practice as spiritual companions.

Program Schedule:

● Begins Tuesday, February 3 | 6:30–8:00 pm (Virtual)

● Meets every other Tuesday evening for six weeks

● Concludes April 14

Begin the Year with Purpose

The New Year does not ask us to reinvent ourselves overnight. It invites us to listen more deeply, live more faithfully, and trust the quiet work of the Spirit unfolding within us. At Dominican Center, we believe spirituality is not about having all the answers, but about cultivating the courage to remain present to the questions that shape our lives.

Wherever you find yourself on the journey, we invite you to walk with us in the year ahead—stepping forward with purpose into deeper meaning, renewed faith, and a life shaped by sacred wisdom.
