Dominican Sisters~Grand Rapids invites you to its Annual Diocesan Gathering to talk about truth with with Ann Garrido, DMin.
Ann Garrido is Associate Professor of Homiletics at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, MO and is the author of several books, including Let’s Talk about Truth: A Guide for Preachers, Teachers, and Other Catholic Leaders in a World of Doubt and Discord (Ave Maria Press, 2020).
Truth has become the topic of endless arguments, befuddling our minds and knotting our stomachs, ensnaring even our closest relationships. It doesn’t have to be that way. Garrido looks at ways that ministers can help disentangle tough questions about truth, liberating the term from its current confusion and recovering truth once again as a way of life.
We hope you can join us virtually via Zoom for an afternoon of dialogue. Please feel free to invite your parish staff to join with us.
