National Migration Week   Renewing Hope, Seeking Justice is the theme of National Migration Week to be held January 4-10, 2009. This observance, which began over 25 years ago by the US Bishops, is a time for Catholics to take stock of the wide diversity in the Church. 	Project Homeless Connect Homeless Connect is coming to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Sponsored by the Grand Rapids Area Housing Continuum of Care's Coalition to End Homelessness (CEH), Project Homeless Connect is this year expecting over 1,000 guests as well as many additional services to introduce them to. Former archivist at Marywood and author of Period Pieces:An Account of The Grand Rapids Dominicans 1853 - 1966, Sister Mona is currently co-chair of the Dominican Sisters ~ Grand Rapids Ending Homelessness Committee.
