Alpena Girls Explore Dominican Life

"What does a Sister do all day?" was a question that the 3rd and 4th grade girls from All Saints School in Alpena were most interested in.

Sister Catherine Anderson invited the girls and the school principal, Mrs. Lightner, to her apartment to share her vocation story and what she does as a Dominican Sister. The girls listened intently to Catherine as she told about her past ministries as well as her love for painting with watercolors. Seeing photos and hearing about Catherine's family was also a highlight of the afternoon.

Only God knows which of these girls will respond to the call to religious life. Thank you, Sister Catherine for your help in planting the seed!
