Weekly Contemplative Prayer Groups Lectio Divina Looking for a new way to deepen your prayer life? Join us on Wednesdays for Lectio Divina, a blend of slow, prayerful reading of scripture and silence. Wednesdays 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm • All Are Welcome Centering Prayer A way of prayer designed to facilitate the development of contemplative prayer. It presents the teaching of the 14th century Cloud of Unknowing in a contemporary form. Tuesdays 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm • All Are Welcome |

Women in Black The local Grand Rapids chapter of Women in Black has been holding silent vigils that began before the start of the war in Iraq. They take place at the Federal Building along Michigan Ave from 12:00 – 1:00 pm on the first friday of each month and from 4:30 – 5:30 pm on the third Friday of each month. Some of our Grand Rapids Dominicans are regulars. It is a most reflective time. We welcome others to join us. To join, email mpostellon@hotmail.com.
